The CW Plus (CWP) is The CW Network’s broadcast platform that distributes programming exclusively to the smaller television markets that typically have less than 350,000 TV homes. CWP provides a 24/7 program schedule to these affiliates. With The CW’s primetime schedule as its centerpiece, the line-up is supplemented by first run and off-net syndicated programming acquired on an exclusive basis from the major studios including NBC/Universal, Fox, Sony, and Disney/ABC.
CWP is currently available in 111 markets and reaches about 12.8 million homes or 11% of USTV HH on an NTI basis. CWP is carried by 93 digital over-the-air stations, primarily as a HD multicast on an ABC/NBC/CBS or FOX station, and available via cable in 18 additional markets. CWP’s geography covers parts of 44 states and 5 time zones.
